After one week into the second lockdown, I though it was worth a little update for everyone.
The group has now been running for 35 weeks, and is headed up by a voluntary Committee Chaired by Kirsty Harman. The other Committee Members are Kay Moss, Dave Neeves, Gareth Owen-Williams and myself.
The group relies on our team of volunteers who work across the area to help the vulnerable.
If you wish to join us then please get in touch. If that isn't your thing and you want to do another type of volunteering then our website has a section dedicated to this
The group has not applied for or received any financial funding and is run entirely on goodwill of our community
After a quiet Summer we have seen an increase in people once again requiring our help.
Please get our phone number out there, so that no one goes without help or advice- 01892 317151
A reminder of our website address: www.suppcrow.wixsite.com/website
Here you will find an array of information to support the residents of Crowborough, from Chemist opening times, Takeaway menus to Mental Health support services
Since my last update, the Crowborough Sewing Bees have been extremely busy making masks, and have raised over £12000 for our Hospital, but just a reminder that they are doing a raffle. All the prizes have been donated by local businesses. Tickets are available directly from the Bees or at Crowborough Station. Although the group is not in anyway related to Supporting Crowborough we are always happy to promote what they are doing for our great little Hospital

After the recent attention the group and I have received, by our MP and the Press, I though it was worth a little update for everyone.
The group was founded on 13th March this year as is run by a voluntary Committee Chaired by Kirsty Harman. The other Committee Members are Kay Moss, Dave Neeves, Gareth Owen-Williams and myself.
I would like to stress that this group would not exist if it wasn't for the hard work and dedication of all the Committee Members, Coordinators and over 100 Volunteers.
The group has not applied for or received any financial funding and is run entirely on goodwill of our community
At the moment things are very quiet, but we want to keep the momentum going in case any further problems arise.
Once it is felt that Covid is under control we hope that we can build the group up into something that is here for our Town for the future
